Registration Information
Admitting
The Admitting Department is adjacent to the main lobby on the north side of the facility. It is open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. To expedite admission and ensure proper billing, please bring all insurance information and photo identification at the time of admission. For Admitting Services from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., please enter the Emergency Department on the south side of the hospital. The doors to the main lobby are locked after 10:00 p.m. each night.
Main Admitting Area
Enter through the main doors on the north end of the facility, turn left at the first hallway by the elevators and Admitting is the first door to your left. All registrations will done in the Emergency Department between the hours of 9pm-6am.
Preadmission
Located at 3196 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 112 (in the medical building south of the hospital). Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm and Saturday from 7:00am-2:30pm. This center processes all surgical patients having procedures in our cath labs. Preadmissions are by appointment. If you do not have an appointment you may experience a delay or longer wait times. You should make an appointment by calling (702) 731-8580. Prior to your preadmit appointment please be sure you have completed your physician visits and have orders for the services to be performed. We are unable to complete the preadmission process without these orders. Please bring a list of current medications that you are taking, picture idenification, insurance cards, forms, and your co-pay or deductible if owed for this service.
You should allow approximately two hours to complete this process, if no preoperative testing has been ordered.
Once you have completed your preadmission process you will be directed to the Surgery Waiting area on your day of surgery and will not need to return to admitting.
Emergency Department
Enter through the door for ambulatory patients. The Emergency Department is open twenty four hours per day seven days per week. To reach the adult Emergency Department call (702) 731-8080. To reach the Pediatric Emergency Department call (702) 731-8181.Sunrise Specialty Services
This building is located at 3131 La Canada #107. This is on the east side of the main hospital. The entrance is located on the southwest side of the building. The entrance hallway will take you directly to registration. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am-7pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7a-6p and Saturday 9a-noon, closed Sunday.Surgery Waiting
A registration representative is located in the glass booth at the front of the surgery waiting area. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 5:30am-1pm.Diagnostic Center
This building is located at 3006 South Maryland Parkway. Enter through the door on your left, which takes you into the lobby of the Diagnostic Center. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm and Saturday from 7:00am-2:30pm. All of the outpatient laboratory work for Sunrise Hospital is performed in the Diagnostic Center. If you are scheduled for lab work only please go to this Center.
Your physician will call our Operations Center if a you need to be admitted to the hospital. The Operations Center will arrange for your room. Room assignments are made based on your medical needs. Private room requests will be honored if the room is available, at an additional cost to you. Private rooms cannot be reserved or guaranteed, and since they are not reimbursed by insurance companies payment will be requested at the time the room request is honored. You should go directly to the main admitting department when you arrive at the hospital. Please remember to bring your insurance cards, insurance forms, picture identification and, if applicable, your Advance Directive.
The Pavilion lobby or main admitting area will process your registration for any outpatient testing for services being performed in the hospital. The Diagnostic Center will process patients scheduled in this center and Health Strategies will register all patients scheduled at their center for services, unless otherwise instructed by your physician. We register patients and perform services based on your physicians order. This order must be complete or it may postpone or delay your services. The information required on your order is:

You will need your insurance cards, insurance forms, picture identification, and copay or deductible at Registration, and if applicable, your Advance Directive.
