Expanded Emergency Transport

As a regional referral center and Level II Trauma Center, Sunrise Hospital provides advanced tertiary medical services for thousands of patients each year. Many patients needing a higher level of care are transported to Sunrise by ground or air ambulance.

Sunrise Hospital is pleased to announce a new partnership with CareFlight Air Ambulance. CareFlight is a new air ambulance responder providing services to Las Vegas and the surrounding areas. Their capabilities include helicopter and fixed wing. The helicopter has advanced features that will allow it to expedite transports as well as go into areas other medical helicopters can’t access, such as higher elevations. Those advanced features, coupled with the expertise and experience of CareFlight and the Sunrise Hospital and Sunrise Children’s Hospital teams, will help enhance the critical care services offered to residents of Nevada and surrounding states.
